Eleven lucky Cortesians and guests (some from Denmark) enjoyed a great day on the Misty Isles' museum sponsored trip around Maurelle Island.

Highlights of the trip included the passage through the tidal rapids at Surge Narrows and Hole in the Wall and the funky museum/gallery in the Octopus Islands.

The finishing touch, however, was near the end of the day, coming home in the late afternoon under sail and sighting the humpback whale that has been in our area for the last week or so.
