Their passion for the beauty & character of Bute Inlet presented by Rob & Laurie Wood who have lived off the grid on their Maurelle homestead at the entrance to Bute Inlet for 34 years. World class mountaineers, they've taken many hiking, sailing, climbing & ski touring expeditions up Bute Inlet. They've made numerous ascents of mysterious Mt. Waddington, towering 13,200 ft. above sea level -- the highest mountain completely in BC & known for its shear verticality & magnificent remote wilderness setting. Rob & Laurie will share their images, stories & hard earned secrets of this little known wilderness gem, Bute Inlet.
