A new bird for me and other enthusiasts, in the parking lot and meadow at Squirrel Cove. The giveaway (upon guide perusal) was the flirting, bobbing tail which flashed white and black. An enticing mystery, this long-legged, buff-colored, smallish gray-and-brown streaked bird that preferred the grass to the shore.
