RAPTOR SIGHTINGS

For several days a Northern Harrier was in the Sprungman Pond area on Bartholomew Road. The species is not listed for October on the Cortes birdlist.

Two young Great Horned Owls visited us on Oct. 8. They were apparently broodmates by the calls they were exchanging. We have not heard or seen these owls for several years. Have you?
